Unilever PLC: Purchases Witco Corp.'s remaining 60% interest in Haifa, Israel-based Witco, Ltd., effective April 1, Greenwich, Conn.-based Witco Corp. said. Witco Ltd., which posted sales of $2.4 bil. in 1995, manufactures cosmetics and the well-established Pinuk personal care line in Israel. Unilever currently sells its Dove, Vaseline and Lux brands in Israel. Unilever also owns an Israeli ice cream company Glidat Strass. The remaining 40% interest in Witco Ltd. is held by Israel-based gasoline manufacturer Delek Ltd...
