DSHEA NUTRITION LABELING, HEALTH CLAIMS REGS TARGETED FOR DECEMBER release, according to FDA's regulatory agenda published in the Nov. 28 Federal Register. Developed to meet provisions in the Dietary Supplement Health and Education Act, the two implementing regs will address dietary supplement nutrition content and health claims, and nutrition and ingredient labeling. A third proposed rule, expected to be published at the same time, will "define the terms, `high potency' and `antioxidant,'" the agency said.
