L'Oreal S.A.: Total sales for the L'Oreal Group cosmetic division grew by 20.4%, the Clichy, France-based parent says. The L'Oreal Group was formed in July 1994 by consolidating Cosmair Inc. USA, Cosmair Canada Inc. and Lorsa Fagel, the firm's former Swiss agent, as well as 49% of Procasa, L'Oreal's Spanish agent ("The Rose Sheet" Oct. 17, In Brief). Consolidated sales in 1994 were up 18.5% to FFr 47.6 bil., or $8.9 bil., based on the Dec. 31 exchange rate of $1 = FFr 5.3370.
