Executive Summary
IFF EUROPEAN AND LATIN AMERICAN SEGMENTS DRIVE OVERALL FRAGRANCE SALES UP 11% to $773 mil. in 1994, Inter-national Flavors & Fragrances said in its recently released annual report. Growth in the company's five largest Latin American markets -- Brazil, Mexico, Argentina, Columbia and Central America -- was particularly strong, with double-digit gains, the company said. Healthy second half U.S. sales propelled the "good year-end growth" in North America while the Far East finished the year with "moderate fragrance gains," the company said. The "strong gains" in most of the Far East region were "partially offset by softer sales in Japan and the Philippines."
