L'Oreal/Jade: L'Oreal S.A. finalizes acquisition of Jade skin care, makeup and fragrance business from Hoechst AG Oct. 1 after receiving approval from German and Austrian authorities, L'Oreal states. The firm is merging Jade with its 100%-owned subsidiary H.U.P. (Haarkosmetik Und Perfumerien) based in Dusseldorf.
