UNILEVER NORTH AMERICAN PERSONAL CARE BUSINESS WILL BE HEADED BY ROBERT PHILLIPS effective Jan. 1, 1997 under the firm's new corporate structure, the Anglo-Dutch consumer goods company announced March 13. Phillips will be responsible for regional strategy development, financial performance, and capital and personnel resource plans for Unilever's home and personal care business in the North American region, the firm said. Unilever personal care divisions in North America include Elizabeth Arden, Calvin Klein Cosmetics, Lever Brothers and Chesebrough-Pond's. Helene Curtis' business will be added to Unilever's North American holdings when Unilever's acquisition of the company takes effect March 16 ("The Rose Sheet" Feb. 19, p. 1).
