TSUMURA RESTRUCTURING WILL RESULT IN INCREASED MARKETING RESOURCES for the company's "key brands," Tsumura Inter-national said. The U.S. subsidiary of Japan-based Tsumura & Co. announced April 29 that it will be eliminating 39 positions, or 6% of Tsumura's work force, in an effort to "provide the focus and financial resources needed to strengthen the advertising and promotion support required to continue" building the company's brands. Tsumura International posted $183 mil. in sales in FY 1996 (ended March 31).
