GNC beauty line: General Nutrition Companies planning to develop its own line of aromatherapy-based health and beauty products to be sold in GNC retail stores, the company said. GNC's efforts will be aided by the Seattle-based aromatherapy and custom health and beauty aid retailer Amphora; GNC acquired a controlling interest in Amphora the week of July 12. GNC is also considering a national roll out of stand-alone Amphora stores. Currently there is only one Amphora store. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
