HYPOALLERGENIC PRODUCTS RECOMMENDED TO ACNE PATIENTS BY 16.8% OF DERMATOLOGISTS polled in a survey conducted by Zoe Diana Draelos, MD, Bowman Gray School of Medicine, Wake Forest University, and Robert Louis Rietschel, MD, Ochsner Clinic in New Orleans. The survey was published in the August issue of the Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology. Completed by 594 members of the American Academy of Dermatology, the survey found that dermatologists are "not commonly recommending hypoallergenic products to...patients with...acne."
