DELANEY CLAUSE REFORM BENEFITS MUST BE CLEARLY DEMONSTRATED in arguments supporting the need to change the zero-risk cancer standard for food and color additives, House Commerce Committee Counsel John Cohrssen told the Food & Drug Law Institute 1996 educational conference Dec. 10-11. "It is important to demonstrate" the benefits of Delaney clause reform so that Congress "can see why we need to make changes," he said.
