NATIONAL UNIFORMITY FOR COSMETICS REMAINS CTFA TOP PRIORITY in the current congressional session, the Cosmetic, Toiletry and Fragrance Association said. Speaking at the trade group's annual meeting in Boca Raton, Fla. on Feb. 28, CTFA VP-Legislative Affairs Michael Petrina said: "We need a national uniform standard that would preempt attempts by the states to impose their own warning and labeling requirements for cosmetic products."
