PRESTIGE COSMETICS TO EXPAND DISTRIBUTION BY 60% following completion of deals with Walgreen's and CVS, the Deerfield Beach, Fla.-based company said. According to the value-priced mass market color cosmetics company, contracts with both national drug chains are close to being wrapped up and product is expected to be on shelves by January. With the addition of CVS and Walgreen's outlets, the Prestige Cosmetics line will be sold in 16,000 doors in the U.S. The cosmetics products are currently available in mass market and beauty supply stores including Eckerd's, Rite-Aid, Wal-Mart, Ulta 3 and The Cosmetic Center, as well as in 37 countries worldwide.
