Executive Summary
Settlement with South Beach Sun bars the manufacture, sale or distribution of Sea & Ski Carrot Oil in black bottles or with a package or label that includes a triple carrot design, according to a June 5 ruling from Miami federal court. Sea & Ski or its President Robert Bell are also prohibited from using text, including "loaded," "antioxidants" and "nutrients," or the sentence "Carrot oil is one of the most effective tanning enhancers available" or any substantially similar sentence, according to the agreement. Within 10 days of the effective date of the settlement, Miami-based Sea & Ski must destroy all labels of the carrot oil packaging.
