Expanding "beauty store" prototype to 500 new outlets and will remodel 200 existing stores in fiscal 1999, which began April 1, the drug chain said. Remodeled stores of around 6,000 sq. ft. may need to be relocated since they tend to be too small for the new store design. More than 700 doors have the new layout, which range in size from 10,000 sq. ft. to 17,000 sq. ft.
