The Environmental Protection Agency's high production volume chemicals testing program should be referred "immediately" to ICCVAM "to find suitable alternatives to animal tests," a group of eight House members state in a March 8 letter to the agency. The Inter-Agency Coordinating Committee for the Validation of Alternative Methods is an independent group under the National Institutes of Health responsible for finding alternative methods to animal testing.
