Executive Summary
Senate cloture vote to end debate on Agriculture Appropriations bill (S 1233), which includes the FDA FY 2000 budget, is expected the week of July 12. Lott and Senate Minority Leader Tom Daschle (D-S.D.) came to an agreement establishing the Patients Bill of Rights as a stand-alone bill
