Lebanon subsidiary is expected to generate $30.9 mil. in sales by Jan. 1, 2001, the company announces. The business, established Jan. 1 to handle marketing and sales for L'Oreal's mass market and professional hair care products, eventually will take on the company's fragrances and prestige cosmetics, including Lancome, Biotherm and Guy Laroche. In Hungary and Poland, L'Oreal skincare, fragrance and makeup brands are now handled directly through company subsidiaries instead of local agents after reorganization of the group in those countries.
