Cellex-C

This article was originally published in The Rose Sheet

Executive Summary

Topical vitamin C anti-aging products will be extended with Cellex-C Skin Support System dietary supplements in late summer. The caplets contain glucosamine sulphate, L-ascorbic acid, calcium, quercetin and zinc. Regular use "helps promote moist, smooth and firm texture to the skin" and "helps visibly increase the elasticity and resilience of the skin to greatly reduce the appearance of lines and wrinkles," promotional material states. Results usually are noticed within 12 to 16 weeks of twice-daily use, according to the Toronto-based company. The supplements will be sold primarily through skin care professionals such as dermatologists, plastic surgeons, spas and salons. A 60-count jar (30-day supply) will sell for about $45; a 120-count will cost $75
