Fragrance and cosmetics sales jumped 36.7% to $200.3 mil. (219.3 Euro) in the first half, and rose 33.3% after currency adjustments, the company reports Aug. 16. The increases were "heavily influenced" by continued "strong sales" from new fragrance launches. As of Sept. 1, Wella will reorganize its business divisions into Fragrances & Cosmetics, Professional and Retail, versus the existing Fragrances & Cosmetics, Wella Brand and Other Brands units. Consolidated sales were up 21.1% to $1.18 bil. (1.29 bil. Euro) in the half. Earnings jumped 38.2% to $32.5 mil. (35.6 mil. Euro)
