Executive Summary
Air Care Division launches Sept. 13 to address safety issues, standardize testing methods and support new technology for the rapidly growing air care industry, which markets products including fragrances, candles and potpourri, Chemical Specialty Manufacturers Association says. Allan Streit, director of technical sales at Shaw Mudge & Company, will chair the new division, which will operate via four committees: membership, program, scientific and critical issues. The Air Care Division will complement CSMA's six other units, which include antimicrobials, detergents and aerosols, the trade association says.
