Executive Summary
Cosmetics adjusted operating profit increased 16.6% to approximately $542.6 mil. ([Euro]631.2 mil.) during the first six months, and L'Oreal's dermatology unit adjusted profit jumped 33.2% to about $28.3 mil. ([Euro]32.9 mil.) in the half, the company reports Sept. 12. Consolidated sales rose 14.5% to $5.29 bil. ([Euro]6.15 bil.) and operating profit rose 21.3% to $593.3 mil. ([Euro]690.2 mil.). L'Oreal's Kiehl's, Matrix and Carson Products acquisitions have been made final and will be consolidated during the second half
