Fragrance trademarks including Cherry Vanilla and Cloud Dance purchased for $450,000 by CCA Industries in deal announced Nov. 2. CCA purchased inventory from Shiara Holdings after the company entered bankruptcy, but has since been paying royalties to Shiara (1"The Rose Sheet" April 6, 1998, p. 9). CCA expects sales for the two fragrances to total $5 mil.-$6 mil. in 2001, up from $2 mil. Cloud Dance recently has been repackaged and reduced in price to attract younger consumers.
