Cetaphil: Therapeutic Hand Cream showed a "statistically significant improvement" in skin hydration as well as hand desquamation and dermatitis versus Beiersdorf's Eucerin Cream in four-week, double blind study of 24 subjects, Galderma announces at American Academy of Dermatology annual meeting Feb. 6-11 in Washington, D.C. Both products were tested in combination with .05% fluocinonide cream, company notes. Debuting in six to eight weeks, Cetaphil Therapeutic Hand Cream is formulated to "treat dry, chapped skin" in problem areas, firm says.
