Department store retailer will convert all regional department stores to the Macy's name beginning in January, Federated announces Sept. 13. Name change does not apply to firm's Bloomingdale's stores but will affect Burdines-Macy's in Florida, Bon-Macy's in the Pacific Northwest, Goldsmith-Macy's in Tennessee, Lazarus-Macy's in the Midwest and Rich's-Macy's in the Southeast.
