Executive Summary
National Toxicology Program will reveal future plans and directions during a symposium celebrating its 25-year anniversary May 10-11 at the National Academy of Sciences in Washington, D.C., agency announces in March 10 Federal Register 1notice. NTP roadmap for implementing its vision for the 21st Century will be a focus of discussion. Agency unveiled the 2roadmap last year, which identifies program directions in three areas: refining traditional toxicology assays, developing rapid, mechanism-based predictive screens for environmentally induced diseases and improving the overall utility of NTP products for public health decisions.
