Procter & Gamble allocated $1.9 bil. for advertising efforts in the first nine months of 2005, 5.8% less than the same period in 2004, TNS Media Intelligence reports. "This decrease is consistent with public statements by the company that it intends to shift marketing budgets away from media advertising," according to TNS.
