Acquisition of tissue engineering company SkinEthic by French beauty marketer's Episkin subsidiary, which is dedicated to development of reconstructed skin, is aimed at helping L'Oréal enhance development of in vitro test methods, firm says in Feb. 28 release. SkinEthic is an "important worldwide player in the production and commercialization of human epidermal and epithelial tissues," including epidermis, dermis and corneal tissues, L'Oréal notes.
