Increased sales of sun care, including the Bain de Soleil and Coppertone brands, helped drive the consumer health segment up 11% over the prior-year period to $345 mil. in the first quarter of 2007. Sun-care sales grew 20% over the prior-year period to $90 mil. during the quarter, Schering-Plough says. Sales of foot care, driven by Dr. Scholl's, decreased 6% to $78 mil., down from $83 mil. in Q1 2006.
