Phthalates, used as plasticizers in nail products, are potentially harmful, the company claims. The formula is toluene- and formaldehyde-free and is not tested on animals, firm says. "We created the Anti-Microbial BaseCoat to give our clients effective relief for problem nails, and now we've made it phthalate-free," Poshé COO Lynn Beaurline says in a statement.
