Personalized skin care 4ME

This article was originally published in The Rose Sheet

Executive Summary

Debut product from Fort Wayne, Ind. company Bioceutical Brands - the 4ME Adaptable Potency Skincare System - empowers consumers to create personalized solutions to their skin woes so they no longer have to rely on "off-the-shelf, one-size-fits-all" products, according to recent release. Available online and soon in fine salons nationwide, the 4ME system consists of five basic products - a moisturizer, vitamin serum, toner and two cleansers - as well as 13 "potency boosters" or active complexes targeting specific skin-care concerns, which can be blended to create customized treatments. Up to 915 formula combinations are possible, offering "an unprecedented level of personalization," the company says. The 6-g. boosters are labeled for easy selection, with names like 40-Something Anti-Aging, Hydration Plus, Redness Reducer and Oil Normalizer. "4ME is the result of my years of searching for a solution to my own skin condition," says founder Lesley Sears, a former TV reporter who says she struggled to treat her rosacea through conventional medical routes before turning to combinations of natural, organic and cutting-edge actives such as those possible with 4ME. Bioceutical notes that the International Spa Association and U.S. News & World Report have identified personalization as a trend that is gathering momentum across consumer goods industries
