Unilever PLC has appointed Mary Carmen Gasco-Buisson, former executive vice president of global business units and chief marketing officer at jewelry company Pandora Group, as CEO of Unilever Prestige, effective 1 November, according to financial news reports and Gasco-Buisson’s Linked-In page. Unilever’s 10-year-old prestige division’s 10-brand lineup includes two of the company’s 30 ‘Power Brands’ – Dermalogica and Paula’s Choice – as well as dermocosmetics brands Murad and Kate Somerville; face and skin care brands REN, Garancia and Tatcha; hair care brands K18 and Living Proof; and cosmetics brand Hourglass.
