Executive Summary
Net sales for fiscal year ended March 31 increased 3.8% to $68.9 mil., largely due to new distribution, Fort Lauderdale, Fla. firm says. Sales to "unrelated" customers were up 29%, while sales to related parties decreased 27% during the year, confirming "acceptance of our products in both domestic and international markets," firm says. Net income rose 1.4% for the year to $3.9 mil. Fourth quarter net sales fell 2% to $14.8 mil. and net income dropped 34.7% to $620,000. Parlux holds fragrance licenses to Perry Ellis, Fred Hayman Beverly Hills and Ocean Pacific.
