Juvena: Juvedical skin care collection will expand next year to include Renewing Body Cream and Renewing Body Serum, Beiersdorf division says. Formulas feature brand's Skin Nova technology, based on a burn treatment method, which helps skin repair itself, according to the firm. Serum, which will cost $85, includes "polymers embedded in water which form a 3-dimentional network that retains the right amount of lipids to keep the body hydrated," Juvena claims. Retailing for $63, cream helps skin rebuild lipid barrier and nourishes, making skin appear smoother, company says. Products are designed to "alleviate discomfort caused by breakouts from waxing treatments or shaving irritation, aid in the recovery process of patients who have undergone cosmetic surgery, and diminish unwanted stretch marks from weight fluctuations or pregnancy," Beiersdorf notes.
