P&G shuffles management : Ed Shirley, currently group president of Procter & Gamble's North America business, has been made vice chair of global beauty & grooming, effective July 1. He will report to Susan E. Arnold, president-global business units. "Ed is the right leader to accelerate the long-term growth of P&G's beauty and grooming businesses," says A.G. Lafley, CEO and chairman of the board, who cites Shirley's track record of leadership and experience in general management, finance, marketing, supply chain management and sales. "He'll bring a 'fresh lens' to help identify new opportunities and connections for consumer delight and customer business growth," Lafley notes.
