Executive Summary
Strategic Partnership on REACH Testing releases "The SPORT Report: Making REACH Work in Practice" July 5. Composed by representatives from the European Commission, member states and industry, 1report aims to assist with development of procedures to implement EU's Registration, Evaluation and Authorization of Chemicals system and suggest ways to improve its workability. Recommendations include ways to clarify roles and responsibilities for manufacturers, importers and downstream users, such as establishment of working procedures for communication with downstream users. Report further suggests clarifying compliance requirements and consequences of non-compliance.
